Job Description:

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team!
Position Summary: To effectively lead a team of maintenance technicians and develop the four maintenance leaders. This position will require someone who is available and on-call to assist with repairs and help with non routine problems that may arise.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safety training and compliance of all safety guidelines pertaining to the maintenance department. Works with all manufacturing employees to improve equipment capability in terms of uptime, yield, reliability, and throughput. Acts as a coach and mentor to ensure that all maintenance employees are working towards adhering to proven standards that have been developed on PMs and best practices as outlined in one-point lessons. Ensures that all maintenance employees know and comply with the Brazeway Quality Plan and 5S + Safety Program. Provides communications with supervision and leadership to provide updates on equipment status and projections of potential start times. Provides employees with training, and assistance with non-routine problems. Supports and manages within the Brazeway Code of Conduct, Core Values, and our Process Based Leadership philosophy. Actively supports and shows personal ownership for the Brazeway Quality Plan and 5S+Safety Progrm. Ensures that all maintenance employees know and comply with the Brazeway Quality Plan and 5S + Safety Program.

What a candidate must have to be qualified for the role:
Strong technical skills and ability to interact tactfully with all departments on many levels. A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a manufacturing maintenance environment Experience with hydraulics and electrical equipment Journeyman or skilled trades certification is preferred. Excellent communication and computer skills A strong work ethic and a strong commitment to a team environment

How this role is different:
Responsible for all training of maintenance teams along with equipment related training with production. Reports directly to the maintenance manager along with working closely with TPM Coordinator. Normal hours would be Monday Friday with some weekends during projects or annual maintenance. Potential for off hour call ins and phone calls throughout your time away.
