Messer is seeking a Class B CDL Driver in the Cincinnati market who possesses a working understanding of construction equipment.

What You Will Do:

• Performing daily commercial vehicle inspection


• Ensure the completion of necessary repairs to vehicle to ensure operational safety


• Maintain complete vehicle inspection reports (Daily)


• Safe loading & unloading of various construction equipment and supplies


• Making pick-ups & deliveries to job sites in various environments


• Performing basic troubleshooting involving malfunctioning equipment and making minor repairs


• Demonstrating proper and safe equipment usage to customer at point of delivery


• Completing log book and trip sheets meeting all D.O.T. and company record keeping requirements


• Minimal overnights required

• The position requires compliance with the following responsibilities:




• Maintain a valid driver's license with Class B CDL certification, DOT Physical Examination (Medical Card) & a good driving record


• 2 years of verifiable experience operating Class B Commercial Vehicles


• Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety regulations / DOT guidelines


• Prior experience in safe operation of construction machinery, and a working understanding of load securement and transport methods


• Accountability for personal safety & maintaining a safe work environment


• Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness on the roadways


• Attend Messer safety training programs


• Attend applicable continuation skills training programs
