AVP Underwriter, Property - Westchester at Chubb in New York, New York

Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• For Excess & Surplus Lines Property division, reviews complex risk submissions for both new business and renewals, gathering and analyzing all pertinent data to determine acceptability of risk. Reviews endorsements on existing policies to identify any change in original coverage.
• Evaluates, accepts, rejects, or modifies risks within established Underwriting guidelines and authority.
• Visits producers and promotesChubb Westchester Property coverage's, products and services. Maintains alliance with producers to promote high level customer orientation and encourage submission of targeted business.
• Performs other duties as required to best serve customer and team needs.
• Manage all phases of agency management within assigned territory.
