POSITION - PROJECT CONTROLS SENIOR SCHEDULER

LOCATION - REMOTE ROLE

Role description:

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Lead Project Controls Senior Scheduler to join our Project and Program Management team working on large semiconductor facility, and data center design and build projects.

As the Lead Project Controls Senior Scheduler, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the scheduling and coordination of multi-billion dollar construction and development projects

Role accountabilities:


  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and objectives
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other stakeholders to gather project scope, timelines, and resource requirements to develop detailed schedules
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks, delays, and critical path activities, and provide proactive solutions to mitigate schedule impacts
  • Conduct regular schedule analysis and reporting to project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, critical activities, and deviations from the baseline schedule
  • Work closely with the project team to optimize resource allocation, identify potential scheduling conflicts, and propose schedule adjustments as necessary
  • Support the implementation of project controls processes and systems, including cost and resource management, to ensure effective project delivery
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior schedulers and project controls team members
  • Review the quality and structural integrity of the project schedules using various analytical tools
  • Undertaking large data analytics exercises including reviewing and interpreting Acumen Fuse results

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Architecture, construction management, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project scheduling and controls, with a proven track record of managing complex construction and development projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard scheduling software (Primavera P6) and advanced knowledge of scheduling best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess schedule impacts and develop actionable mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry or large-scale R&D facility development is highly desirable.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $190,000.
