Job Description:

The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U!TK Elevator is currently seeking a Maintenance Reliability Technician III in Middleton, TN.
Responsible for research, design, and development of optimal processes to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Provides input to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related
    risk that may adversely impact operations.

  • Works with process and design engineering to ensure the reliability and
    maintainability of new and modified installations.

  • Orally communicates with hourly/salary personnel to train them in technical skills necessary to understand production work.

  • Manage small capital projects including writing capital requests, following management of change processes, and assisting new equipment installation.

  • Supports manufacturing changes required as the result of Engineering Change orders.

  • Work with manufacturing engineers supporting Make/Buy analysis of production parts.

  • Required to be able to read technical prints and work with technicians to identify the root cause of equipment failure.

  • Specify and write training for tooling and testing equipment as needed to ensure team is properly equipped.

  • Provides technical training to maintenance technicians and technical personnel.

  • Develops engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's Degree or commensurate experience required.

  • Five or more years' experience as a Reliability Technician or equivalent.

  • Possess significant (5+ Years) experience in computer software (PLC, CMMS,& logic)

  • Must be able to work with test equipment and hand tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a facility.

  • Possess good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Possess good decision making and prioritization skills with supervision.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) preferred.

  • Knowledge of Bluebeam, AutoCad and Solid Works a plus.

  • Training in CNC Programming a plus
