Manager - IT Audit - SAP




Hybrid Work, primarily Work from Home. Once a week onsite in Arlington, Virginia.

@Orchard is working with a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB) focused on delivering solutions to the US Government in Data Analytics, Change Management, and Audit Readiness. Our client needs IT Audit Managers with current SAP Systems experience to support the US Army's General Fund Audit Support (GFAS) program.

This is a hybrid, mostly work-from-home role with meetings in Arlington or McLean VA weekly, therefore being commutable to those locations is a requirement. The role requires Secret Clearance. As the Manager IT Audit - SAP,
you will be accountable for the following.

• Attend business process sprints and provide subject matter expertise regarding SAP IT security control design.
• Provide expertise on modules/applications/tools to support S4/HANA On-premises IT security (authentication, SIEM, interface file processing, audit logging, etc.).
• Identify IT control gaps in Army legacy systems that would impact auditability and compliance; make recommendations for future state control design.
• Provide ERP configuration recommendations that support auditability, security, and compliance.
• Provide rules, guidance, validation, framework, and expert knowledge to support third-party design and implementation of the Information Technology General Controls that provide the Army's IT systems auditable controls.
• Gain an understanding of the audit issues identified within Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) issued by the Army's Independent Public Accountant (IPA) ahead of business process sprint sessions.
• Communicate requirements. recommendations that would mitigate issues within the future state environment.
• Review business process documentation to understand the existing process within the government client.
• Develop recommendations, in the form of white papers, for the requirements needed to mitigate audit risks within the future state environment.

Your background will include the following attributes and experience.

• Experience performing SAP analyses utilizing the EY Risk Navigator tool, including:
  • SOD Rulesets
  • Role Design
  • ITGC configurations
  • Application Controls
  • Emergency Access (i.e., Firefighters)
• Must be a strong team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills around information assurance and security relating to IT general controls and application controls.
• Requires information security and compliance knowledge and experience to determine acceptable levels of information security risks.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance (or Interim Secret).
• Problem solver, detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
• Proven ability to synthesize information quickly and transform it into actionable reports and presentations.
• Must have either a Masters's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a business discipline with an accounting certificate and CPA or CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM.
• Must have at least 4 years of experience with federal financial management
• Must have at least 2 years of federal accounting experience
• Active CPA license preferred but not required.
