Responsibilities:
Preparing forms for concrete pours ensuring ADA requirements are met.
Preparing and installing rebar or reinforcing wire
Pouring and finishing concrete in forms
Finish concrete as directed by Field Manager in compliance with site specifications.
Utilize equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators to dig and grade
Work safely in a team environment and follow applicable guidelines
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Perform any general construction duties on a commercial construction site as directed by onsite Managers
Qualifications:
Must be energetic, hardworking, and dependable
Routinely Lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a commercial construction environment in compliance with all Safety requirements.
Ability to work 8-10 hours per
Monday through Friday, with some overtime work required including some Saturdays.
Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work (Typically less than 20%)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Prior construction experience is preferred but not required
Have reliable transportation to and from jobsites throughout the Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia Metropolitan region
The company self performs many other stilled tasks including pavers, concrete flat work, retaining walls and other site amenities like outdoor kitchens, decks, fire and water features, full landscape planting packages
