Bilingual Spanish Research Assistant at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in BROOKLINE, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Our client, a university in Boston, is looking for a temporary Bilingual Spanish Research Assistant to join their team for a 3 month contract. This role compensates $22/hr. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!



Essential Functions:

• Traveling to sites to post flyers, making screening calls to determine eligibility, and scheduling and completing study assessments, either over the phone or in person.


• Responsibilities also include assisting with data collection, scoring, and entry, monitoring the participant log and scheduled visits, and coordinating and disbursing payment procedures for participants.


• RAs may also conduct qualitative interviews and will assist with transcribing and coding data using NVivo.


• Other responsibilities include helping to coordinate updates to the study team website and assisting with grant progress reports and applications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

• Bilingual Spanish


• Ability to work and communicate effectively with culturally diverse individuals.


• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work on a team.


• Comfortable working with diverse issues related to substance use, mental health, health disparities, and cultural diversity.


• 1-3 years of related/research experience, excellent attention to detail required


• Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently


• Excellent verbal and communication skills


• Technological fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
