Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Hudson, OH
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a thriving health-care distribution company located near Hudson, OH. This person will be responsible for full cycle accounting, month end close, journal entries, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and other ad hoc projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and input monthly journal entries accurately and promptly.
- Analyze important account reconciliations each month, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Play a pivotal role in our yearly budget and planning activities.
- Compute monthly rebates and incentives for both customers and vendors.
- Assist with the annual financial statement audit.
- Identify and spearhead opportunities for process enhancements.
- Contribute to various special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 1-3 years of public accounting or relevant accounting experience preferred.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude with initiative in decision making and continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Oracle and Oracle Report Writer is a plus.
