Engage and support adults in recovery to take charge and grow with Behavioral Health Network!



Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist in the My Sister's House program at Behavioral Health Network!



Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the My Sister's House program with the following:


  • Overseeing the activities of individuals served.
  • Completing tasks necessary to the upkeep of the program, such as food shopping and transporting individuals when needed.
  • Completing timely and accurate documentation.
  • Providing crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
  • Working collaboratively with the Program Director and Clinical Manager to ensure the quality of services.
  • Participating in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Adhering to the requirements of licensing and funding sources.



Who are we?




The goal of the My Sister's House program at BHN is to serve women ages 18 and up, including pregnant and post-partum women and their infants, who are working to recover from addiction and improve their lives. BHN employees at the 24-hour long-term program serve the women by providing a range of services including counseling, educational services, living skills training, parenting groups, and more.

What are we looking for in a Recovery Specialist?


  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • One year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment (required).
  • Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse Regulations.
  • Commitment to client empowerment, human rights, and community integration.
  • Valid Driver's License (required).
  • Vehicle for use during all working hours should be registered and inspected in accordance with 540 CMR 4.00 (required).
