Position Purpose
This position will help support the financial planning team that is dedicated to providing exceptional service for the firm's financial advisors. This will include the creation of financial plans and other value-add, providing advice using current law and the everchanging industry updates.
Responsibilities
Team Leader
Help the department manager support the team with training and education
Stay abreast of changes and regulations as related to the financial services industry
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce comprehensive financial plans using MoneyGuidePro/NaviPlan software
Provide supporting documentation such as social security, Roth Conversion, pension, college, portfolio fees and other analysis as required
Incorporate insurance and estate planning as necessary
Qualifications and Skills
Comprehensive knowledge of topics related to financial planning
In-depth understanding of the securities industry, including investment and insurance products
Self-starter; highly motivated
Manage time and delegate workflow
Results-oriented
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience with financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro, Morningstar are a plus)
Experience with Social Security opportunities; Medicare basic rules; Retirement savings vehicles; Basic tax knowledge; and other areas as they pertain to the financial planning process
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - to include Word, Power Point, MS Teams, Outlook and other technology as needed
Education and Experience Requirements
4 years financial planning experience with bachelor's degree preferred
FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 66 licenses

Base Pay Salary
Remote Residents Only: The estimated base salary for this role is $50,000 - $70,000 / year. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
