Overview

Cambrex High Point is looking for a motivated, skilled Facility Maintenance Technician, to provide general maintenance support through the performance of assigned tasks related to equipment maintenance, facility services, building maintenance, engineering projects and other tasks as assigned. Role will provide assistance and support to experienced Facility Technician and the Sr Manager Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs building or equipment maintenance tasks including the completion of work orders, scheduled routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs.

• Assists other maintenance technicians as well as vendors/contractors who come on-site to perform maintenance or other assigned work.

• Performs general facility support tasks related to one or multiple functions, such as minor electrical/plumbing tasks, painting, drywall repair, furniture and equipment moves, and conference room set up.

• Responds to facility-related emergencies as assigned.

• Coordinates assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic experience in facilities maintenance.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Computer Skills to include ability to use MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Good communication skills.
• Good team player!
