The Facility Manager manages the day-to-day facilities operation involving general maintenance of facilities, equipment, and grounds. Responsible for all physical and mechanical aspects of the facility, including, but not limited to, directing, and overseeing the tasks performed during routine maintenance, emergency after hours calls, facility security, custodians, managing outside contractors, and establishing service contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Delegates cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
Monitors the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas.
Performs maintenance on the facility and makes repairs as needed.
Schedules routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
Ensures proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals.
Creates reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
Prepares the facility for changing weather conditions.
Collaborates with management on budgeting for facility's needs.
Maintains inventory of equipment including tools and necessary equipment.
Manages employee's attendance, performance, and adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.
Conducts employee reviews.
Provides coaching, support and corrective action as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree or can substitute experience for a degree.
Two to four years' experience
Supervisory experience with Facility Maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pumps and automated machinery, and ability to troubleshoot electrical, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, plumbing, HVAC and building systems.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
Must be able to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
Must perform under high pressure situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.

The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations. The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day. The ability to sit or stand for up to 12 hours at a time. The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions. The ability to work in low light situations.
