We are seeking an Associate within our Client Service team to help build awe-inspiring moments for our clients! The Client Service team is responsible for leading HMS's client business and day-to-day management of client programs. The Associate position provides an entry-level opportunity to learn experiential marketing alongside our experienced team. Working collaboratively, you will have an opportunity to get hands-on experience planning and executing event marketing programs while supporting the team to exceed client expectations.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, and process management skills, as well as a strong writing background. They are able to work as part of a cohesive team and will need to engage with internal HMS divisions, client partners & vendors, and consumers. Although this is a temporary (6-9 month) position, it requires full time hours, including some weekends, nights and holiday travel/work. HMS utilizes this program to help identify the right individuals for our entry-level full time opportunities.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Account Manager, you will assist the team in researching new ideas, building budgets, and designing proposals based on client-provided direction
Work interdepartmentally to ensure events and projects are executed on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations
Brainstorm new ideas and present them to key internal stakeholders
Stay up to date on experiential marketing trends, ensuring HMS is proposing the latest and greatest ideas to new and existing clients
Prospect outside vendors as needed
Occasionally travel for onsite event execution (travel-related expenses will be covered)
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Recent college graduate or entry-level candidate
A hardworking and reliable attitude with the ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
Solid communication skills with great time management and critical thinking ability
Excellent attention to detail
Creative thinking, willing to stretch the boundaries of what is possible
Strong team player
Outstanding customer service orientation, sense of urgency, and a high-level of personal integrity
Exude passion for the organization
Experience working at an experiential agency, internship or similar experience helpful but not required
