Overview
Consor is currently looking for an ADCI Commercial Diver to serve as an Underwater Engineering Technician in our Structural Assessment/ Bridge Inspection business unit. As a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm, Consor is full of opportunities for career development. We are looking for a driven, independent person with an ADCI Commercial Diving certification to advance their career in an expanding engineering company. Must be willing to work in the field, travel often, and able to assume increasing responsibilities as the job requires.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and report reviews in accordance with National Bridge Inspection Standards requirements, and determine maintenance or repair needs
- Review bridge inspection reports from inspection crews
- Perform emergency inspections of bridges damaged by collision, floods, etc., as required.
- Schedule bridge inspection crew work.
- Maintain bridge records and files.
Qualifications
- ADCI Commercial Diving certification
- Proficient technical writing skills
- Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Good interpersonal skills
