General Responsibilities
  • Performs administrative office duties, such as but not limited to answer incoming phone calls, handle mail and office supply orders.
  • Accounts Payable support with Sage data entry of invoices matching them to PO's.
  • Handles all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
  • Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices,
  • Prepare vendor checks.
  • Responsible for updating and issuing weekly and monthly sales and stock reports,
  • Supports the introduction of new IT systems to improve business effectiveness, such as ERP.
  • Files, maintains, distributes accounting documents, records and reports,
  • Assist in the compiling information and preparing responses to auditors during the annual external audit.
  • Support Finance with month end inventory.
  • Responsible for the safety of his/herself and that of others working in and around the immediate area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education/Training/Experience
  • High School diploma with focus on business/computer curriculum or associate degree (AS) preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of accounts payable experience and have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks or equivalent combination od education and experience.
  • Intermediate to advance computer skills, including but not limited to MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Supervisory Responsibility

The position has no supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office and warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
