HYBRID IN BOSTON (3 DAYS PER WEEK ONSITE)

We are actively seeking a talented, confident and motivated Engineering Manager to lead our Site Engineers for our eCommerce platform.

BACKGROUND:
The Site Reliability engineers support and monitor production for our eCommerce platform and are responsible for development enablement within our Agile Release Train. You will be working with the latest technologies, tools and frameworks, as well as working together with the rest of the team to push our team and organization forward as an innovator.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead a team of 8-11 Site Reliability Engineers (internal FTEs, contractors, and agency developers domestically and internationally?
  • Manage a team of Site reliability engineers that are responsible for 24/7 service support, including Incident management
  • Manage Platform engineering, Production monitoring, and Capabilities to support process metrics
  • Utilizing Error Budgets to provide objective metrics that determine allowable service reliability that align to SLAs/SLOs
  • Scale up, support and development processes via architecture and automation solutions.
  • Direct, develop, and manage staff to maximize their individual contribution and function effectively as a team
  • Coordinate with the Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Businesses Stakeholders during product setup, on-boarding, and planning
  • Ensure code quality and standards using tools and review processes?
  • Manage DevOps and Release Management across the Agile Release process
  • Collaborate with other development managers on CI/CD capabilities to allow for on-demand releases with confidence and quality?
  • Work closely with other Engineering and Quality Assurance leadership to define and implement the Technology roadmap and vision?
  • Implement standards and expectations for tools, reports and metrics
  • Manage vendor relationships
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with 4+ years of people management experience
  • Significant experience with Agile development processes
  • Solid understanding of Commerce Cloud and eCommerce architecture structures
  • Strong e-commerce flows, topology and e-commerce ecosystems?
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Must be adept at leading and evaluating team and individual effectiveness
  • Willingful ability with development product management - estimation, resource/budget? planning and development methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, Agile/Jira)??
  • Experience working with and maintaining Jenkins for build / release management?
