The Opportunity:
The firm are seeking a talented and motivated Real Estate Finance Associate to join their dynamic team in Chicago.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated real estate finance matters, collaborating with experienced attorneys and contributing to the success of our clients' projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex real estate finance transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing arrangements.
Conduct due diligence, review legal documents, and provide strategic advice to clients on real estate finance matters.
Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase agreements, leases, and other related contracts.
Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth and efficient transaction processes.
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in real estate finance.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
2-5 years of experience in real estate finance transactions at a reputable law firm.
Strong understanding of real estate finance concepts, including lending structures, due diligence, and documentation.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
