Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Director of Enrollment to begin July 1, 2024. The Director of Enrollment reports directly to the Assistant Head of School for Advancement. The role supports the mission of our school by focusing on recruiting efforts and supporting enrollment.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment strategies aligned with the school's mission, vision, and goals. Analyze demographic data, market trends, and competitor information to identify opportunities for enrollment growth.
  • Plan, organize, and staff admissions events both internally and externally, including set-up, materials preparation, tear-down, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance and Operations and the Head of School to make effective financial aid decisions that support enrollment goals while ensuring access and affordability for students. Stay current on financial aid trends and regulations to make informed decisions.
  • Generate applications through the maintenance of positive relationships with parents, consultants, and other admissions professionals.
  • Initiate and lead communication with prospective students and their families.
  • Serve as a point of contact for parent ambassadors, student ambassadors, and volunteers, especially when organizing events.
  • Gather, compile, and manage confidential admissions files from application to enrollment.
  • Work with the Assistant Head of School for Advancement to find new, creative ways to promote Roycemore and reach new potential families.
  • Work closely with Division Heads and the student success team to ensure programmatic support and guidance for newly admitted students and their families.
  • Develop and implement admission policies and procedures from inquiry to enrollment, ensure timely communication with prospective students and families, and review applications for admission.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track enrollment metrics, assess the effectiveness of recruitment and retention initiatives, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including academic teams, student services, marketing, development, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of enrollment initiatives with broader institutional goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or postgraduate work in subject matter and/or education
  • 5+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment, or school marketing
  • A strong passion for student success, learning, and development
  • Enthusiasm for embracing the Roycemore school mission, vision, and values
  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Knowledge of enrollment trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in higher education
  • Experience with enrollment management software and data analytics tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of Macintosh operating systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Commitment to inclusion and issues of social justice and equity
  • Ability to use basic office equipment
