Job Description:

Schedule: Hybrid in Washington, DC. Wednesdays required plus either Tuesday/Thursday.

We are partnering with a highly regarded national conservation nonprofit on a temporary to hire search for a Senior Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role supporting leadership, operations and projects for a team responsible for marketing, communications, government relations, corporate partnerships, content strategy, and brand development.

The ideal candidate would have:
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated success in an administrative, dynamic, creative role ideally with a Nonprofit organization.
  • Excellent administrative skills with superior attention to detail.
  • Tech savvy with a high proficiency in MS Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint is a must.
  • Interest in environmental conservation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage schedule and daily calendar for the Program Officer, communicating regularly, ensuring schedule reflects the priorities of leadership.
  • Coordinate meetings with various internal and external stakeholders, reserving meeting space, distributing agendas, preparing meeting agendas and materials, take and prepare meeting minutes, as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support including coordinating travel, preparing and processing expense reports, contracts, and invoices.
  • Assist in preparing monthly corporate card expense reports.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the department with all internal and external constituencies.
  • Track divisional workflow and priorities; helping to anticipate and act upon future needs and requirements and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the division.
  • Serve as a communications bridge and facilitator across all teams and direct reports, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of essential information.
  • Basic tracking and reconciliation of department budget.
  • Build strong, collaborative, and positive relationships with peers across the organization and within the team.
  • Assist with high-profile organizational events.
