Job Description:

Our client, a renowned employment law firm with a distinguished reputation for providing exceptional legal counsel to clients across various industries are currently looking for a Partner join their prestigious Employment practice. With matters ranging from Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) counselling to employee benefits and international employment issues, their team of experienced attorneys are dedicated to delivering superior service and achieving favourable outcomes for their clients. They are looking for an experienced attorney to head up their employment practice in New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in all matters related to employment law.
  • Strategise and execute the best approaches for minimising litigation risks and achieving favourable outcomes for clients.
  • Lead and manage cases, including but not limited to retaliatory discharge, breach of contract, fraud, and other claims.
  • Provide strategic guidance on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity legislation.
  • Counsel clients on employee relations strategies and handle day-to-day employment and personnel matters effectively.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop progressive employee relations strategies and handle day-to-day employment and personnel matters effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in one or more jurisdictions, with a preference for experience practicing in international arbitration.
  • Significant experience in employment law
  • Proven track record of successful client representation and litigation management.
  • Strong understanding of employment law regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage complex legal matters efficiently.
