Position Overview:

As a Scientist on the in vitro Pharmacology team, you will be an integral part of our research and development efforts, leading bioanalytical support functions and assay development. Working collaboratively with a team of scientists, you will contribute to the development and evaluation of novel gene therapies, with the goal of translating them into clinical applications. Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize protein quantification methodologies
  • Lead bioanalytical approach to support in vitro and in vivo studies assessing the efficacy, safety, and mechanism of action of gene therapies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide scientific expertise and support for gene therapy research programs.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, present findings internally, and contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
  • Stay updated on the latest scientific advancements and emerging technologies in the field of gene therapy.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of preclinical and clinical studies, including experimental design and data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records and ensure compliance with relevant protocols and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of gene therapy manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline such as molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, or a related field. Exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in protein quantification techniques and gene expression analysis
  • Experience with cell culture techniques is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in gene therapy research is desirable.
  • Knowledge of preclinical and clinical study design and execution, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize experimental protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced research environment.
