Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer

Employment Status: Full-time (Non-exempt)

Reports to: CEO & Creative Director

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer, with a passion for creating efficient and effective web and mobile solutions. You will be able to design and translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

We are not looking for graphic designers for this position. We are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX professional to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Work closely and collaborate with CEO, Creative Director, Developers and QA team members.

- Design intuitive product experiences.

- Create, improve, and use wireframes, prototypes, brand guidelines, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas.

- Present designs on a regular basis.

- Delivering work on time and aligned to the roadmap, while constantly raising the quality bar.

- Working on upcoming roadmap solutions.

- Continually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in the discipline.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer.

- Experience with UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams and prototypes.

- Deep understanding of core design tools, Figma and Adobe Illustrator.

- Experience designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, buttons, widgets and custom-made components for our digital assets.

- Experience animating assets and components on Figma.

- Experience with both Desktop and Mobile design.

- Providing development-ready designs and assets for our team of developers.

- High data visualization skills.

- Actively engaged in the UI/UX community and in tune with the latest developments in the industry.

- Portfolio with updated work examples.

Qualifications

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in designing desktop and mobile projects.

- At least 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer in areas such as information architecture, customer experience design, product design or other similar areas.

- Thorough knowledge of user-centered design principles and traditional design principles, with expertise in how to apply them within a visual design system.

- Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, components and states, etc.

- Experience using Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

- Problem solving mindset and to be able to bring creative ideas to our team.

- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.

- Strong portfolio to be presented during interview.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field of study.

- This role primarily involves working in an office setting and using a computer for extended periods.

Compensation

Based on experience and skills.

Schedule

- Monday through Friday.

- Flexibility to work a weekend if required.

- English (Spanish is a plus).

Work Location

- In person/On site. Reliably commute to Kendall, FL 33177.

- Possibility to be hybrid after 6 months.
