Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: This role is a temporary position that is expected to last approximately 6 months. The License and Permit Analyst supports the store operations by maintaining various permits needed to operate the store business and upgrades current permits where applicable. The License and Permit Analyst also researches permits for new stores as acquisitions arise and supports the company goals by focusing on personal accountability, customer service, and work efficiently.

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintains permits by completing applications, requesting payments, and mailing both in a timely manner
  • Contact store managers as needed for personal information to complete applications
  • Assists Manager as needed
  • Sets up permits for new acquisitions by researching needed permits in new municipalities
  • Scans all permits and backup documents for online access
  • Serves as a backup as needed in the Support Services Department
  • Continually monitor permits for missing applications and ensure all permits are renewed timely to prevent potential sales interruptions or fines due to expired permits
  • Sort incoming mail and post outgoing mail
  • Take a daily deposit to the bank
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good keyboarding skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills
  • Possess multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to research online as needed
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Team player and professional demeanor
  • Ability to keep all personal information confidential
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs as needed, as well as twist bend, and stand as needed
  • Ability to hear and speak via telephone
