Due to continued growth, our assurance team is currently seeking a senior associate interested in building relationships and advancing their career. At Cassady Schiller, we offer a hybrid work environment and all client work is performed locally; within the tri-state area. There is an option to travel for training or complete virtually. As an Assurance Senior, you will have opportunities to: • Build relationships with clients by gathering information, resolving problems, and providing recommendations for process improvements. • Lead client audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning, executing, directing and concluding. • Demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement presentation. • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on assurance processes. • Research and analyze financial statements and assurance related issues. • Acquire a working knowledge of clients' businesses. • Perform other accounting services as assigned.
Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. • 2-4 years of assurance experience at a public accounting firm. • Current CPA or working towards the CPA designation (preferred). • Dedication to superior client service. • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to multi-task and complete assignments within deadline constraints. • Professionalism, dependability, integrity and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude. • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
