Job Title: Residential Restoration Superintendent (must have restoration experience)

Company Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Residential Restoration Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of restoration projects in residential properties. Our client is a rapidly growing commercial and residential construction company based out of Duluth.

Compensation: Base Salary between $80k-$90k (negotiable) plus benefits, PTO, and 401k matching.

Job Qualifications: Proven experience as a Residential Restoration Superintendent or similar role within the construction or restoration industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, permits, and regulations related to residential rehabilitation and restoration. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate a team to meet project objectives. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members at all levels. Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools and applications. Physical ability to frequently move around construction sites, including climbing ladders and stairs, and lift heavy objects as needed. Valid driver's license and a good driving record. Certification in restoration or occupational safety is a plus.

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all residential restoration projects, including fire, water, and mold remediation, and general construction repairs. Coordinate with property owners, project managers, and subcontractors to develop and implement project plans, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Plan, schedule, and effectively manage project timelines, ensuring all restoration activities are completed within established deadlines. Hire, train, and supervise a team of restoration technicians and subcontractors, ensuring project work is executed according to established protocols, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and building codes throughout the restoration process. Conduct regular site visits to inspect and monitor ongoing project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. Evaluate project costs, monitor project budgets, and manage resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints. Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily work logs, progress reports, change orders, and any necessary documentation required to meet insurance or legal requirements. Collaborate with project managers and estimators to provide accurate and timely cost estimates and proposals for restoration projects. Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors, resolving any conflicts or disputes that may arise. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to residential restoration, ensuring knowledge is transferred to the team as applicable.
