In light of our continuous expansion, we are currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our Mineola, LI office, contributing to projects across the metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities:
Generating mapping using computer-aided design and drafting survey software
Creating topographic, boundary, utility, as-built, ROW, and ALTA mapping
Conducting survey calculations, data uploading, downloading, and processing in the field
Analyzing and plotting boundary maps and descriptions
Conducting record research for boundary and utility information
Collaborating with design teams to meet demanding project schedules
Qualifications:
Preferably 3-5 years' experience as a Survey Office Technician
Associate degree or ability to obtain one
Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting survey software such as ALTA/NSPS Land Title and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience in survey computations for land and construction surveys, proficient in Trimble, Carlson Field to Finish
Experience with surveying and mapping for municipal, residential, and commercial projects, including topographic, boundary, utility, as-built, ROW, and ALTA, as well as understanding boundary deeds, maps, and easements
Ability to interpret civil, architectural, and structural drawings
Strong communication skills
