Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

$19.00/hour + DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for all aspects of the physical construction of signage for all service centers and retailers.

2. Process requests for marketing, point of sale, point of purchase, and event signage; follow established process for approval.

3. Prioritize schedule of production and meet deadlines.

4. Create or follow layout on a pre-determined media; perform finishing operations such as laminating, affixing grommets, and/or mounting.

5. Track productivity and generate reports as required.

6. Maintain accurate inventory of all Sign Lab supplies and materials; replenish supplies based on levels established by manager.

7. Arrange shipping or transport of all orders utilizing the lowest cost carrier that will meet the schedule requirements.

8. Utilize safe material handling practices; keep workspace clean and organized.

9. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2. Possess education equivalent to an Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

3. Possess intermediate communication skills including the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

4. Possess the ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Possess the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

5. Possess intermediate math skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

6. Possess intermediate reasoning skills including the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

7. Possess organizational skills required to plan work and balance multiple priorities.

8. Possess computer skills requiring knowledge of Corel Draw, word processing software, e-mail software, spreadsheet software, order processing systems, and Internet.

9. Possess the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; taste or smell; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
