The Data Solutions division is the commercial data business of Moody's Analytics, bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting and improving databases that are made available online to subscribers, and for responding to and assisting clients with their data-related requests. Candidate must reside near Boca Raton, Florida as this is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities


  • Maintain company's historical databases that are available online to subscribers in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Respond to client requests and inquiries.

  • Assist and support internal and external clients in accessing our data.

  • Improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.

  • Expand existing data offering with additional economic or demographic statistics about a geography or area (indicators) and new sources of data is also necessary.

  • Provide top quality documentation, such as internal procedures and any information regarding the collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions for an economic or demographic statistic (indicator).

Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate or advanced degree with course work in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields preferred.

  • 2+ years of work experience in this sector or other related fields.

  • Programming languages such as SQL, Python

  • Expert-level Excel skills

  • PowerBI

  • Focused, accurate, having a sense of curiosity are important skills for this role

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $45,900 - $66,600, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
