Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of commercial insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of insurance products and regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and issues
Handle the end-to-end management of commercial insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
Assess client needs and risks to recommend appropriate insurance coverage options
Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and pricing on behalf of clients
Assist clients in filing insurance claims and provide support throughout the claims process
Maintain detailed records of client interactions, policy changes, and other relevant information in the agency management system
Identify opportunities to expand client coverage and offer additional insurance products and services
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert insurance advice
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial insurance account management or related role.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM) preferred but not required
