TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced QMS Engineer in Ft. Worth, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

  • Performs audits and assessments to ensure compliance to drawings, specifications, procedures and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

  • Performs duties related to releasing quality system documentation by reviewing and processing all types of quality system documents for release.

  • Monitors, measures, analyzes and evaluates effectiveness of actions taken to address risks and opportunities.

  • Manages metrics and analyzes data using basic statistical methods and problem solving tools.

  • Ensures effective application of the Corrective Action process including the 8D method.

  • May lead Continuous Improvement projects with limited scope but usually contributes on broader projects.

  • Provides practical quality support to plant personnel on new and existing processes.

  • Participates and adds value as a member of the Quality Assurance department.

  • Engages in effective communication within and across departments.

  • Participates in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years work experience in Quality or Quality related field experience; less experience may be appropriate with advanced degree.

  • Undergraduate degree in Quality, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Demonstrated experience in application of the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

  • Demonstrated experience learning new business systems and processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in documenting business systems and processes and bringing them into compliance.

  • Experience in assembly and manufacturing environment

  • ISO 9001 Auditor Certification preferred

  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred

  • Quality Engineer Certification preferred

  • Working knowledge of quality, safety and industry standards and practices.

  • Ability to analyze and resolve basic process issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills within all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to support a team leader as circumstances require.

  • Proficient in data analysis techniques using typical MS Office programs.

  • Ability to report analysis results effectively with presentations, reports, and charts.

  • Ability to create correctly formatted documents that demonstrate clarity of subject matter.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Possess strong discipline to provide accurate and timely data.

  • Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem solving skills.

  • Able to thrive in a fast pace environment.

  • Ability to work well with a team.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time - accurately, efficiently and effectively.

  • Must be self-directed, professional and dependable.

  • Demonstrate dependable work habits and schedule.

  • Observe all safety rules, procedures, and OSHA regulations Expected (Educational)
