Responsibilities include: • Post Accounts Payable journal entries and ability to process high-volume vendor payments • Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization • Running the client billing cycle - start to finish • Create and analyze financial statements and all supporting documents • Keep general ledger updated • Prepare 1099's, and other IRS year-end requirement
Requirements: • 5+ year experience with bookkeeping and accounting functions • Proficiency with MS applications • Experience with ProLaw, legal and billing software (preferred but not mandatory) • Highly organized, flexible, and able to change course when dealing with changing priorities • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and posting journal entries • Experience with a variety of financial reporting • Outstanding attention to detail • Exceptional spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills • Excellent listening and comprehension skills • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written • Flexible learning style, with a positive can-do attitude • Willingness to handle other tasks as needed • Great organizational skills and the ability to be a self-starter • Eager to learn new software solutions • Ability to take direction and operate independently • Flexible, can-do, positive attitude • Strong productive independent work qualities (e.g., punctual, reliable, hard-working, team player, etc.) • Able to work well with all levels within the Firm
