Role description:

Arcadis is currently seeking a Site Manager/Treatment System Operator in St. Augustine, FL. This position will oversee operations involved with 24-hour operation and maintenance of remedial systems including groundwater recovery, treatment system, pretreatment, and air sparge system. The ideal candidate will have in remedial operations, an aptitude for both mechanical and electrical problem solving.

Role accountabilities:

• Manage all Arcadis and Client driven health and safety requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors to perform selected operation, maintenance/repair of systems in addition to preventive maintenance and non-routine repairs.
• Oversee operators and technicians on all aspects of system operation, maintenance and repairs when required on the pretreatment injection facility.
• Construction oversight of treatment system repairs construction, and facility demolition.
• Direct communication regarding facility operations with Client and other relevant stakeholders
• Site, system and facility Inspections.
• Ensure facility is in compliance with local, state, and Federal regulations and/or permits, as well as Arcadis and client policies and procedures.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain facility records.
• Coordinate preparation of site reports as needed
• Identify operational efficiencies and cost saving opportunities.
• Maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical controls for treatment systems.
• Aptitude with data management and ability to steward data collection. Mechanical aptitude with system operation.
• Knowledge of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) operation, interpretation, and analysis.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License with a clear driving record.
• Ability to work Independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with Client, coworkers, and others.
• Ability to respond after-hours and weekends as the facility requires continuous operation of systems and processes.
• Ability to interpret charts, flow diagrams, maintenance manuals, and instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Basic computer skill to manage client work order system

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 15 years operations and maintenance experience.
• Ability to drive for Arcadis
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARC Flash NFPA 70 Training.
• DOT HazMat Shipping training.
