Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client in Houston, TX is hiring a Windows 11 Migration Technician for a contract position to support their Windows 11 Migration. This is a role onsite, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Some overtime may occur occasionally. This role will focus on a Windows 11 operating system migration across 172 sites.




REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience with Windows 11 process of refreshing machines, and ship out equipment

  • Must be a self-starter and have good organization skills

  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed

  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.



The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
