Job Title: Lead Qualification and Nurture Product Marketing Specialist

The Lead Qualification and Nurture Product Marketing Specialist position is part of the commercial organization supporting the Biosciences Division portfolio which includes reagents, instruments, and consumables across the division's business units.

How will you make an impact?

The Lead Qualification and Nurture Product Marketing Specialist will perform and track outbound calling campaigns targeting customers who have responded to various marketing programs. Duties will include daily management and manipulation of spreadsheets, performing basic analysis, and reporting. The Lead Qualification and Nurture Marketing Specialist will exercise wide technical knowledge in customer interactions regarding product promotions and campaigns. This position requires clear communication, selling, presentation, relationship management, and leadership skills when working with stakeholders, commercial teams, marketing operations team, and leadership teams.



What will you do?



  • Make numerous outbound calls to customers that have responded to a marketing tactic.

  • Loosely follow a script, in a timely manner, to determine if a customer is interested in follow up from sales or to nurture the contact further along in the buyer's journey.

  • Track calls and continue to attempt live contact a pre-determined number of times before designating lead as abandoned.

  • Close out call disposition after a live contact by either, marking as not interested or create a sales opportunity in the CRM database.

  • Manage incoming leads on an ongoing basis.

  • Organize the unique contents of the "Marketing Playbook" that is associated with each campaign.

  • Send relevant "Marketing Playbook" materials to sales rep for each opportunity identified and communicated to sales.

  • Refer customer to various customer support teams if an issue is identified or if a new account needs to be created.

  • Work with program/product managers to gain an understanding of the product(s) in order to have an educated conversation with the customer.

  • Provide comprehensive and timely reports on program metrics and customer feedback for program stakeholders.

  • Update and maintain a complete dashboard of all active/completed/terminated programs.

  • Able to liaise well between our commercial (sales) teams and marketing teams to offer the appropriate insight into effective programs.


How will you get here?





Education




  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Science preferred with related lab experience



Experience




  • In-depth understanding of life sciences is required.

  • Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or like programs.

  • Bench-level experience preferred (as a bench scientist).

  • Works well in a team environment.



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities




  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communications skills.

  • Highly motivated, results oriented and self sufficient to meet target goals.

  • Demonstrates a professional rapport with customers and co-workers.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.

  • General knowledge of assigned product portfolio and/or customer segment.

  • Ability to function effectively in a high-performance team.

  • Ability to work in fast pace environment and to prioritize workload.

  • Practical understanding of the sales process & buying cycle.

  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office packages.

  • Knowledge of web tools and analytics.

  • Minimal travel may be required (up to 5%).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $66,000.00-$90,000.00.


This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
