Principal SAP MM Consultant at Infosys Limited in Richardson, Texas

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MM Consultant

As a Principal Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, identify areas of improvement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will be responsible to manage the turnaround expectations from the team in terms of any SLA/KPIs and front ending the deliverables of the team with the client stakeholders. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 11 years of experience in SAP MM module including S/4 HANA full life cycle project implementation.


• At least 2 years' experience with SAP S/4 HANA/Fashion implementation experience.


• End to End implementation experience in SAP MM with in-depth understanding of the below modules in SAP MM Master data - Material and Vendor Sourcing -RFQ, Source lists, Quota, Purchase info records.


• Hands on experience in the implementation of SAP Material master not limited to SAP configuration in SAP AFS or SAP Retail area.


• SAP Material Master configuration knowledge in Materials Management is required, programming knowledge (ABAP) is an added advantage.


• Procurement processes - standard, subcontracting, External Service procurement, Contracts, scheduling agreement, Stock transfer orders, Release procedures


• Experience with EDI, IDoc integration. Experience in SAP WM with understanding of Master data, Processes (Picking, Putaway, Replenishment, Barcode etc,.Hands-on experience with MM configuration like Org structure, Pricing, Material Master, Experience on S4 is preferred.


• Proficient in MS SQL (query skills, table structure, and relational databases) skills to identify data quality issues.


• Domain Knowledge in SAP AFS/ or S4 Fashion is required with all business process knowledge.


• Good understanding for SAP Table relations and different load approaches to SAP S4HANA.


• Well-versed in the preparation of functional specifications / Technical Specifications.


• Well-versed in preparing test scripts, and test cases and performing testing.


• Coordinate, conduct and facilitate collaboration sessions with business / technical data stakeholders.


• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot integration issues.


• Perform production support activities through Service Now incidents and problem management process.


• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently.


• Must be result-oriented, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables etc)


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively connect with internal business partners.


• Good understanding of Retail industry specific business processes.


• SAP MDG & MDM knowledge is an added advantage.


• Deep SAP experience will be very helpful.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously.


• Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
