We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to lead our communications and public relations efforts. The CCO will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to enhance our brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and drive business objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the narrative of our company and building strong relationships with the media, investors, customers, and employees.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic communications plan that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Lead the development of key messaging and positioning to effectively communicate the company's story, value proposition, and strategic initiatives.
Oversee media relations, including proactive outreach, press releases, media interviews, and crisis communications management.
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, marketing, and HR, to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communication channels.
Develop and manage content for various communication platforms, including press releases, website, social media, and internal communications.
Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership on communications matters and serve as a trusted advisor on reputation management and public affairs issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related field, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategic communication plans.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and communication channels.
