As an SAP Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the company's success by ensuring that SAP systems align with business processes and are used effectively to achieve business objectives. This role will ensure that appropriate project timelines are identified and ultimately being met; escalating project risks proactively and when necessary leading actions to mitigate risk. Lastly, you will be responsible for ensuring data across our regional footprint is accurate and meets regulatory and corporate guidelines where necessary actively working to resolve data quality issues. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and rolling out training documentation and plans while identifying and building actions to mitigate risk to the project while ensuring solutions that deliver efficiencies to the business.
Responsibilities:
This role will work closely with the planning functions such as demand planning, supply planning, distribution planning, IT to implement planning systems, process, data and reporting solutions, through requirements, design, testing, training, and deployment needs.
Lead planning and cross functional teams on implementation and successful completion of complex supply chain planning projects on time, in scope in a fast-paced environment.
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, considering scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
Apply supply chain planning knowledge to lead teams on major project timelines including but not limited to the following: User requirement reviews, Design Reviews / workshops, User Acceptance Testing, Go Live and Post Go Live (Hypercare)
Monitor project progress, milestones, track metrics/KPIs, and communicate regular status updates to stakeholders, adapting plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
Work with necessary teams, stakeholders to understand issues, open items, root cause and to drive them to closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project teams, and external partners, to facilitate successful project delivery and collaboration.
Utilize multiple internal and external sourced partners to arrive at decisions. Engage with consulting and system integrator resources to maximize business improvements.
Leverage lean process improvement methodologies, expertise, and judgement to creatively address complicated and/or interdependent processes, develop execution plans and communicate benefits/risk.
Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve processes or services.
Utilize understanding of industry standards to apply a fit to standard solution.
Lead other to find creative solutions within manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders.
Work closely with BPOs (Business Process Owners), IT, Analytics and cross functional teams throughout the project lifecycles and manage smaller enhancement projects.
Drive the standardization, simplification, and optimization with continuous improvement cycle in the planning processes and systems.
Apply best practices and methodologies for project management, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
Use business process experience and expertise to support recommendations on 3rd Party Subcontracting activities related to toll manufacturing, small packing and raw, intermediate, and finished goods warehousing and distribution.
Influence peers to take action and may negotiate solutions with external partners and vendors.
