About the Role: We're seeking a detail-oriented MEP Estimator to join our client a well-established commercial General Contractor based in Gaithersburg. You will work closely alongside the Director of Estimating on a variety of projects, including competitive bids, design-builds, and conceptual estimates. Knowledge in plumbing, and mechanical systems will be crucial, with additional experience in electrical systems a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop subcontractor scopes of work across multiple projects.
Conduct quantity take-offs, compile estimate summaries, and draft pricing strategies.
Participate in site visits, pre-proposal meetings.
Produce RFIs
Collaborate with our estimating team for seamless trade coordination.
What You Need To Succeed:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents.
3+ years of MEP construction experience.
Familiarity with construction software (Building Connected, On-Screen Takeoff, Blue Beam, Procore).
A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred.
What's on Offer:
$85,000 - $110,000 base salary dependent on level of experience
