The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Projects will include Design/Build of Mixed-Use Development, Modernization of DGS Facility, and Waste/Recycling Center.
Responsibilities
Will be expected to provide day-to-day project management leadership on an average of three projects at any one time. The projects will typically be staggered between different phases (planning, design, construction, and closeout).
Direct and oversee completion of project
Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
Assess risks and establish contingency plans
Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
5+ years of experience managing projects from design phase through construction and commissioning / turnover
Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
Experience working on public utilities and infrastructure projects is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
Experience working on projects in an urban setting and with Net Zero certification will also be a plus, but not a prerequisite.
