The Risk Manager job responsibilities will include:
Manage workers compensation and liability programs
Monitor and administer claims effectively
Investigate, resolve, and respond to all workers compensation, property, and liability claims
Manage all phases of the claims process from intake, investigation, and closure
Provide timely notification of claims to insurance carriers
Communicate with operations, employees, clinics, triage services and carriers
Maintain cost control measures and develop cost reduction strategies
Identify, track and review safety trends and issues
Manage relationships with third party service providers
Develop and implement standards, processes, programs
Identify potential risk exposures, recommend solutions, implement approved programs, promote loss prevention, and monitor compliance
Facilitate the interactive processes in compliance with State and Federal regulations
Monitor and maintain company safety program
Qualifications / Skills:
Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) or more years of risk management experience OR four (4) or more years of increasingly responsible risk management experience
Certification as a Risk Manager through ARM, ARM-P, IEA, or an equivalent professional or vocational institution
Strong with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail
High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
