QLM Search is recruiting a Senior Operations Director for a specialist Ingredients and Food group supporting the Food and Beverage sector. Reporting to the CEO and a dotted line to the global COO this role forms part of the senior leadership team responsible for driving best in class operational performance across the business unit.
Key responsibilities include: • Provide leadership and planning for the division improving national operations and services • Lead and guide the operational remit of the business unit strategic/operational plans • Manage and develop all site operations procedures (multi site) • Driving the simplification of processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of methodologies for the unit
Candidates must have come from a B2B Ingredients background and a manufacturing and Operations background where you have managed all areas including Manufacturing and Engineering and H&S. ** There is a ongoing project to identify a 2nd facility, also in Chicago, so your experience must have included experience in a greenfield (or Brownfield with significant changes) site where you have lead the planning and project phase, or in a start up setting. You will have implemented enhanced standard operating procedures processes and methodologies and must have the ability to lead and motivate a team, combined with a strategic approach to implementing change to drive operating performance.
