The Intersect Group is hiring for a Payroll Tax Analyst to support our client in the Construction industry, located in Smyrna, GA. This is a contract to hire and hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

• Filing local, state, and federal tax returns
• Correcting tax issues in a timely manner to reduce penalties
• Enter payroll adjustments and collaborate with tax filing vendors
• Participate in the processing of W2's
• Assist with payroll and withholding tax inquiries
• Help out with both internal and external audits

Requirements:

• 2 years of payroll tax experience
• Experience with payroll software
• Intermediate Excel skills
