Job Description:

MRC is a diversified global entertainment company with divisions including Film and Television.

Role Description:

The Executive Assistant will support two senior level executives in the Television Business and Legal Affairs department. As needed, and assigned by the EVP, the EA will provide departmental wide administrative support, contract management, and assistance on projects. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, highly responsive, and detail oriented, with a drive to be independent and a team contributor across a variety of projects as well as collaborate with other divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for general administrative support for executives (scheduling, phones, note-taking/action items, materials, invoices, mailing, expenses)
  • Responsible for keeping executives organized and on time with meeting and project reminders, and updated with meeting materials
  • Responsible for receiving, arranging for signature, returning, and filing agreements in the legal drive as well as uploading documents in Rightsline
  • Responsible for tracking and updating the status of all deals and related paperwork, including tracking and calendaring option dates and sending monthly reminders
  • Responsible for coordinating with production finance to process option fees, writer fees, and other development-related payments
  • Maintain department legal files, keeping shared drive and Rightsline up to date
  • Maintain team organizational and tracking tools (e.g., Airtable)
  • Book and arrange executive travel and manage expenses
  • Accountable for scheduling for other departmental executives, as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in television business, and/or legal areas of the entertainment industry greatly preferred
  • Contracts administration a plus
  • Professional attitude, exceptional communication skills, and inclusive style
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Organized with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and multi-task
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofing skills
  • Motivated, resourceful, creative thinker, and problem solver
  • Proactive work ethic with the entrepreneurial drive to anticipate and fulfill needs
  • Ability to communicate with all levels, including managing up
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of software applications such as DocuSign, Scenechronize, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with Rightsline and Airtable a plus.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Salary Range:

$20/Hour - $22/Hour
