Our client, a global independent investment banking advisory firm headquartered in New York, is currently hiring a team administrative assistant who has working in investment banking to join their private funds group. They are a super high performing team, who provide a welcoming and collaborative environment. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has some administrative experience from within the financial services industry and wants to take that next step up in their career.
Responsibilities:
Extensive calendar management; liasing with internal and external parties on various projects and tasks, including complex scheduling requests
Provide administrative support to all members of the team
Maintain the CRM database notes
Monthly reconciliation of expenses
Take responsibility for booking travel (domestic and international) for team members
Writing and editing emails/preparing communications on the team's behalf
Organize and plan client events, including cocktail parties, happy hours, dinners, and lunches
Qualifications & Competencies: • Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role
Good understanding of technology including Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and Zoom, along with a aptitude to learn new software and systems
Must have working investment banking or finance before
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Flexible team player, along with an a high level of initiative and self motivation.
Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once
