Job Description



  • Lead and perform downstream process development for large molecule-based products such as within the API-Proteins group.

  • Leading and participating in design of experiments

  • Executing the planned experiments

  • Optimizing purification process steps

  • Data analysis for early and late-stage products

  • Lead design and execution of the development studies to identify and determine process parameter ranges for purification process steps.

  • Take a lead role to transfer process from development to GMP clinical and commercial manufacturing.

  • Record and analyze experimental data

  • Verify data integrity and accuracy

  • Report/summarize findings to the project team

  • Write technical documents.




Qualifications



  • At least a BS in a scientific related discipline

  • Broad knowledge in purification process development

  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the purification process development steps - cell recovery, chromatography operations, VIN, and UF/DF is required.

  • Previous experience in scale-up is required.

  • Previous experience with transfer of a purification process to clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing is preferred
