Program Manager Tech III
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Program Manager Tech III for an opportunity in Redmond, WA!
Position Title: Program Manager Tech III
Location: Reston, VA
Anticipated Start Date: 05/13/2024.

Expected Duration: 6 Months.
Job Type: Contract / Onsite.
Pay Range: $65.00 - $70.00
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Role Summary:
Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
Key projects: This role will contribute to helping triage the exception requests, doing the initial analysis of it and doing a tier 1/tier 2 triage. They are currently working on a lot of projects (air gap cloud, anything needed to run Azure, etc.).
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 40% going through the existing queue of requests and triaging, 20% fact finding/learning the details of what exactly the individual team is asking to do, and 40% cataloging and working on the disposition and coordinating with the rest of the team.
- The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills as they will be interacting with teams all over the world.
- They need to be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Excellent written communication is needed as well for emails.
- Someone who can connect the dots and can remain professional while having difficult conversations.
- Experience with Microsoft office and experience triaging requests.

Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines and SLAs (resolve all exception requests within a week).
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years' experience with rapidly organizing different information into something that is cogent and sortable.
2. Minimum 5 years' experience with professional email writing and written communication.
3. Minimum 5 years' experience of interfacing with clients on technical and business issues.
