Seaboard Solar Operations LLC seeks Electrical Engineer to work in New Milford, CT. Responsible for: coordinating electric utility permitting activities incl. electrical calculations to model capacity; generating layouts for Solar PV; CAD design of systems; proposing projects & complete system impact study w/ utility companies; providing technical & utility policy knowledge advising to teams & deliverables tracking. Min. Req: Master's Degree (or certified foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or closely related field. 1 year solar industry experience. Detailed full system Solar PV and Solar PV systems design capabilities. Proficiency with PVsyst, AutoCAD & power simulation software, interconnection principles & NEC codes. Experience working with multiple local electric delivery utilities across MA and CT in coordination of the interconnection and construction of solar projects. Ability to execute complex engineering calculations related to Solar PV systems. Certification in Industrial Automation & Six Sigma Black Belt. Understanding of Python or any one programming language.
