Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our team and support the engineering, installation, and commissioning of automated finishing equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls systems, PLC programming, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop control systems for automated finishing equipment.

Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to meet project requirements.

Conduct testing and debugging of control systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

Provide technical support during equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites.

Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide customized solutions.

Develop documentation, including manuals and training materials, to support the operation and maintenance of control systems.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in controls engineering, preferably in the manufacturing or automation industry.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and HMI development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning activities (approximately 25% travel required).
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to automated machinery (e.g., ANSI, NFPA).
