Within the Saint Gobain family, CertainTeed & GCP are seeking a Product & Innovation Manager to support sustainable growth across the Commercial Building & Infrastructure (CBI) business unit. Success in the position is tied to a broad understanding of CBI market segments and product lines, macro and regional market trends, and the ability to drive innovation projects to completion, on time and on budget. The Product & Innovation Manager will work cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Quality & Compliance departments to advance projects. This position is also a key support function within the Product Management Team, assisting Product Managers with product line responsibility on day-to-day initiatives including market research, analysis, documentation and content development. This individual must possess strong interpersonal/communication skills and be results-driven and process-oriented. CertainTeed/GCP headquarters is in Malvern, Pennsylvania. This position may be remote.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Working with the Senior Product Manager, this role will support step-change, long-term innovation projects with a focus on sustainability improvements to product formulations and manufacturing
Work with Product Stewardship & Sustainability Manager to obtain product and manufacturing data to support CBI sustainability objectives
Drive and manage the Innovation Pipeline across all product lines within CBI, facilitating a steady-flow of high-quality ideas
Organize and manage New Product Development (NPD) Stage Gate Review meetings, supporting Product Managers' data consolidation and presentation development when needed
Drive the training and use of Monday.com for NPD project management
What do you bring?
Bachelor's degree in Business or a Technical discipline with 3-5 years of project management or marketing experience preferably in a product management function; direct experience in commercial construction is a plus.
Demonstrated capability in strategy, planning, organizing, integrating, and measuring projects and programs.
Interest and aptitude for market research.
Strong problem solving, analytical and computer skills with the ability to work effectively and positively within all organizational levels.
Required to be an excellent communicator.
flexibility to travel 10-20%.
Strong leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
